RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
At Clobber & Gear, we design quality leisurewear built for everyday life. If something isn’t quite right, we offer a fair and transparent returns process while protecting our brand from misuse.
This policy complies with UK consumer law and does not affect your statutory rights.
1. Your Right to Cancel (UK Online Orders)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.
To exercise this right:

Contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Return items within a further 14 days.
2. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must:

Be unworn, unwashed, and unused

Be free from marks, odours, pet hair, deodorant, or makeup

Have all original tags and labels attached

Be in original condition and packaging (where reasonably possible)

Not have been altered, repaired, or modified
All returns are inspected.
If items do not meet these conditions, we reserve the right to refuse the return.
3. Anti-Wardrobing & Abuse Policy
To protect Clobber & Gear and our customers, we operate a strict anti-wardrobing policy.
We may refuse returns or refunds where:

Items show signs of wear, stretching, creasing, or fabric distortion

Items have been worn for events, photoshoots, social media, or commercial use

Tags have been removed, replaced, or tampered with
-
Items have been washed, altered, or damaged
-
There is evidence of excessive or suspicious returns behaviour
If a return is refused:

The item may be returned to the customer at their expense

No refund will be issued
4. Fair Use & Account Restrictions
We reserve the right to:

Limit the number of returns per customer or household

Refuse future orders from customers who repeatedly abuse returns

Suspend or close accounts that breach our policies

Require additional verification for high-risk orders or returns
This does not affect statutory rights.
5. Evidence & Verification
We may request:

Photographic evidence before approving returns

Proof of identity for high-value or high-risk returns
-
Additional information to investigate suspected fraud or abuse
Failure to provide requested information may result in refusal of a return or refund.
6. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene reasons, the following items (if offered) are non-returnable unless faulty:

Underwear or lingerie (if hygiene seals are removed)

Swimwear (if hygiene seals are removed)

Earrings or pierced jewellery

Personalised or made-to-order items
7. Refunds
If your return is approved:

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods

Standard delivery costs are refunded only where required by law
Return Costs

Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect

Premium delivery charges are non-refundable
8. Restocking & Processing Deductions
Where permitted by law, we may deduct reasonable amounts from refunds to reflect:

Diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item

Missing tags, packaging, or accessories
-
Additional processing required due to non-compliant returns
This does not apply to faulty or incorrect items.
9. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us with your order number and photos.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

Within 30 days: full refund
We cover reasonable return postage costs for faulty or incorrect items.
10. Sale & Promotional Items
Items marked as “sale” or “final sale” are not eligible for goodwill returns unless faulty.
Statutory rights still apply.
11. One-Return-Per-Order (Goodwill Returns)
For non-faulty items, we may limit goodwill returns to one return request per order.
